Ailey II Dance Company to Perform at Quick Center on April 28th
Plans are well under way for Neighborhood Studio of Fairfield County’s (NSFC) 2019 annual fundraiser that benefits NSFC’s arts education programs, with special emphasis on its summer camps. The event will take place on Sunday, April 28th, at Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Westporters Jeffrey and Laurie Gross are this year’s honorees. The popular fundraiser will feature the world-renowned Ailey II Dance Company. “We’re delighted that the Ailey Company II will be performing at our Gala right after their world tour,” said Rita Appel, a long-time Westporter and Chair of NSFC. The performance will begin at 5:30 PM. Tickets range from $40 for students and $75 for general admission, to $150 for preferred seating. VIP seating is $225 and VIP seating and parking is $500. Reception guests at the $225 and $500 ticket levels will be treated to a lavish cocktail reception provided by Garelick & Herbs, which will begin after the performance at 7:30 PM. In its 41 years, NSFC has served over 30,000 children. Today, NSFC serves Bridgeport youth of all ages with after school programs and summer camps.
