A member of the CT Wine Trail, Bishops Farm Market & Winery in Guilford offers daily vineyard tours and tastings. From dry to sweet, the options include award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Vidal Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and numerous white, rose and red wines. Bishop’s also has a new edition of sparkling wines: Sachem’s Twilight (Peach Wine) and Rubus Nightfall (Raspberry Wine). Winery Tours are held on Saturdays & Sundays at 2:00pm. Open Monday - Saturday from 8:00am to 6:30pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 5:30pm.
East Granby, CT
Brignole Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery that has been producing grapes and making wine for over ten years. This Italian style winery prides itself on growing unique Connecticut varietal grapes that make exceptional wines. By blending California grapes with our locally grown Connecticut grapes, our goal is to give you a Napa experience while still making you feel like you’re at home. Open Wednesday - Friday from 1:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturday from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
Chamard Vineyards was founded in 1983 by the William R. Chaney family. The first vines were planted in the spring of 1984, a 5.5 acre vineyard consisting primarily of Chardonnay with a small quantity of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. From 1986 through 1992 the remaining acreage was prepared and planted, for a combined total of 20 acres. Open Tuesday - Saturday from 11:00am to 9:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 8:00pm.

DiGrazia is an estate grown family run vineyard and winery. Come for a tasting or a winery or vineyard guided tour! Outside food is permitted here as well! You can even buy their wine online, directly shipped to you! Open Thursday-Monday from 11:00am-5:00pm.
The Stone House winery and location command spectacular 360 degree panoramic views of lush woodland, open fields and over 22 acres of pristine vineyards. The Haight-Brown Vineyard and Winery is situated on ten pastoral acres, representative of a New England farm winery. The Tasting Room includes a custom built wine bar for tasting each of the nine vintages, guided by the knowledge of educated and friendly staff, an upstairs patio and downstairs terrace for sipping wine on lazy summer days, and two stone fireplaces for lingering during chilly ones. There is also a picnic grove for enjoying your own food with Haight-Brown wines, a cheese nook and retail area as well as several private rooms (Vine Room, Cask Room, etc) for a more intimate tasting or private party affair. A family owned, family operated winery provides over 60 acres of beautiful scenery for events, weddings, or just a fun day to relax. Hawk Ridge Winery is only a little more than a year old but already offers award winning wine. The winery offers a full menu which includes the famous Arethusa farm cheese! Outside food is also allowed! Open Wednesday & Thursday 3:00pm-8:00pm, Friday & Saturday 12:00pm-8:00pm, and Sunday 12:00pm-6:00pm.
Gales Ferry, CT
Located in the Thames River Valley of southeastern Connecticut, Holmberg Orchards & Winery is a working fourth-generation family farm growing 50 acres of vineyard, tree fruits, berries, vegetables and more. Expect an authentic farm visit: you are likely to encounter the sights and sounds of production agriculture while in our laid-back tasting area. Open Saturday-Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
New Preston, CT
Hopkins Vineyard is the oldest family owned and operated winery in CT! They provide wine tastings, tours (by reservation), and gifts throughout the winery such as cork screws, wine glasses, gourmet food products, and specialty teas. Open Monday-Friday 10:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am-6:00pm.
New Hartford, CT
Another member of the CT Wine Trail, Jerram Winery currently has 11 signature wines and is located in the historic Town Hill section of New Hartford. Tours and tastings are available as well as picnics on the wine patio and scenic walks on the garden path. Jerram Winery also hosts art gallery receptions throughout the year. Open Friday through Sunday from 11:00am-5:00pm.
North Stonington, CT
Located on a picturesque 50 acres of land, Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, CT, offers tours of the winery as well as samplings of wine. Weather permitting, tours include walks in the vineyard along with a visit to the tank and barrel rooms. Tours begin at 12:00pm and last about 30 minutes. The winery has a small selection of local cheeses & accompaniments but encourages customers to bring their own snacks as well. The tasting bar is open 7 days a week from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
Nestled in the hills of Shelton, the Jones Family Farms Winery is a premier winery offering guests "Sip and Savor" classes as well as new music, new sangria flavors, and farm treats every week. The tasting room is located at the Homestead Farm. Open Friday-Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm.
East Canaan, CT
The Land of Nod has been serving the local community for over nine generations. The Land of Nod is a family-run and family-owned business located on 200 acres of rolling farmland in the northwest corner of Connecticut at the base of the Canaan Mountain State Forest Preserve, beside the Blackberry River. We planted our first vines in 1994. The Land of Nod offers an array of grape and fruit wines from dry to semi-dry to sweet. Our tasting room is located in an old repurposed barn filled with history dating back to before the American Revolution. In addition to wine, we sell yarn produced from our own sheep and maple syrup from our own sugar house. Open Saturday-Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
While location and a comfortable ambiance make a vineyard inviting, it is the wine that matters most. Paul and Betty were interested in creating a product that was a bit different. Because of occasional subzero temperatures, they planted hearty St. Croix and Marquette red varietals and St. Pepin, a late-frost white. 60% of the grapes used in their wines are grown on site, and the rest are from vineyards within 50 miles of the winery. The Mirandas’ handcrafted vintages are produced using traditional European methods passed down through the generations, combined with modern scientific advances. Dedicated to quality, creativity, and sustainable farming, Paradise Hills Vineyard and Winery in Wallingford, CT offers exceptional Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc, Vidal Blanc, Vignoles, Chambourcin, Tramenet and Cayuga. The winery is Tuscan - themed and has a separate copper wine bar area just for tastings! Tastings are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The winery is open Monday-Saturday, 11:00am-8:00pm, and Sunday, 11:00am-6:00pm.
Located in historic Preston, CT, Preston Ridge Vineyard is situated on 60 bucolic acres just 15 miles from the Long Island Sound. Our location at the peak of a ridge provides breathtaking views of the Connecticut countryside for over 20 miles. Included in the Southeastern New England AVA, we are able to take advantage of the moderating influence of the Sound throughout our nearly six planted acres, where we are currently growing varietals including: Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Triaminette, Vidal Blanc and Baco Noir. Priam Vineyards was founded in 1998, and in 2002, became a licensed farm winery opening to the public in April of 2003. The seasonally beautiful surroundings offer a number of outdoor activities throughout all seasons. Mohegan Sun Casino, Moodus Resort Area, the Goodspeed Opera House, the Spa at Norwich Inn, the Mystic Seaport, a number of state parks, including the Airline Hiking Trail are just minutes away. Saltwater Farm Vineyard is set on more than 100 panoramic acres – 15 of which are planted with six varieties of grapes, and bordered by tidal marshes, a cove and vistas of Long Island Sound, near the historic New England coastal village of Stonington, Connecticut. Open Wednesday-Thursday from 11:00am to 5:00pm, Friday-Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Sharpe Hill Vineyard is Connecticut’s largest and most award winning winery located in the historic town of Pomfret — just minutes from scenic Route 169 and from the Putnam antiques district. The first vines were planted here in 1992 and the winery opened in 1997. Open Friday-Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
There’s also a create-your-own-wine co-op program. Open Thursday - Sunday; check online for hours.
South Salem, NY
A “Best of Westchester” winner, South Salem Winery in South Salem, NY, was the first micro-winery in Westchester county. They produce small batches of hand-crafted wine with grapes from Orient Point and the Finger Lakes. They currently offer 2016 NYS Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Vidal Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and a Rosé of Merlot, as well as NYS Hard Cider and Champagne. Tastings are currently postponed until further notice but wine by the bottle is available 7 days a week from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Stonington Vineyards was established by Nick and Happy Smith in 1987, when purchasing 58 acres in the Stonington Uplands on which wine grapes had been planted earlier in the decade. The winery was constructed in 1989 incorporating the latest in winemaking technology and the traditional methods of barrel fermentation. The winery is a romantic setting for a day of picnicking and wine tasting or as the perfect setting for your wedding or private event. The winery offers events year-round including festivals, concerts, pre-release events and more! Open daily from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
Now offering chocolate and wine pairing tastings, Sunset Meadow Vineyards in Goshen is becoming increasingly popular! With a tasting room, wine shop, and special summer Outside food is allowed. Open Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11:00am-5:00pm and Friday-Sunday 11:00am-6:00pm.
Located in Woodstock, CT, Taylor Brooke Winery offers 20 wines including estate grown dry wines, seasonal fruit-infused wines, red wines and dessert wines. Their signature dessert wine is called the "Chocolate Essence" and is a MUST try! Outside food is always welcome. Guests are welcome to taste the unique variety of wines, stroll through the vineyard, and enjoy the personal touch of a small, family-owned winery. Open Thursday 2:00pm-6:00pm, Friday 11:00am-6:00pm, and Saturday & Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm.
Road Vineyards is a small, family-owned farm winery located in beautiful, historic Woodbury, Connecticut. We focus on blending grapes in a classic tradition, highlighting the unique characteristics that our specific growing area has to offer. Visit our tasting room in our renovated 150-year-old barn! We are open each Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 pm, May through mid-December.
East Sherman, CT
White Silo Farm & Winery is set in the majestic rolling hills of Sherman CT, just south of Litchfield County. All through the year the winery’s natural landscape and breathtaking views showcase each season. The winery’s tasting room is housed in an 18th century dairy barn that was restored to an elegant space, while maintaining its original rustic charm, showcasing exposed wooden beams and stone walls.
